Like the regular Extender, it uses a platform that extends from inside the back of your SUV onto the ground immediately outside. The Extender Plus SUV is built with a coated steel frame, industrial rated motor, and easy to use controls. It comes standard with a battery pack that eliminates the hassle of wiring the lift to your vehicle's battery. If you choose to add the Multi-Purpose Battery Pack, you will also be able to charge your powerchair or scooter as you drive.
